    This is not an event, it is a journey, led by Kelly Terbasket of IndigenEYEZ. Truth and reconciliation isn’t just about information learning, it’s about relationship building. It’s about changing our perspectives, our mental models, and the way we see the history of Canada.
    IndigenEYEZ offers cultural safety training to those who have the desire to learn about the impacts of colonization, the legacy of the residential schools on Indigenous people, and the true history of Canada. Our holistic approach engages the heart and the mind. IndigenEYEZ creates opportunities to restore the spirit of community.

    Outcomes:
    •           Greater awareness of the true history of Canada
    •           Connect the dots from the past history to present day challenges facing Indigenous people.
    •           Understand inter-generational trauma
    •           Strengthens self-awareness about identity
    •           Reveals blind spots that prevent effective ally ship
    •           Increased comfort with broad diversity
    •           Shift away from stereotypes and unconscious biases
    •           Foster deeper understanding and empathy
    •           Increase active listening skills
    •           Remain present with other peoples' troth's
    •           Step out of the FOG- fear, obligation and guilt
    •           A more open mind and refreshed perspective
    •           Foster etuaptmumk or 'two eyed seeing'
