Early Years Partnership
The Partnership began in 1999 with facilitator Gene Krupa looking to bring the community partners together around issues facing young children. In 2004 the name Community Action Toward Children's Health was chosen and our first Terms of Reference was created. In 2008 The province of BC initiated Success By 6, a partnership of United Ways, Credit Unions of BC, the BC Government through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) and Aboriginal and community leaders. After both groups had been working together for many years, we began the process of formally combining our resources and becoming the Central Okanagan Early Years Partnership on April 1, 2017.
